BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Born in Adana in 1974, Kemal Akkaya received his bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Administration. Mr Akkaya started his career as an Assistant Specialist at Oyak Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. in 1997 and served as Investment Specialist, Assistant Investment Manager and Investment Manager until 2015.

He has more than 20 years of experience in Capital Markets and also has experience in venture capital as an angel investor. He holds Capital Markets Advanced Level and Derivative Instruments licences.

He has 30 years of experience with leading roles in financial markets, industry and agriculture.

During this period, he took positions in regulatory institutions, issuer companies and investment institutions, which are indispensable for capital markets. He carried out process improvements, legislation, product, public offering, risk management, risk-based internal audit, internal control evaluation and consultancy work at the Central Registry Agency and Tarım Kredi Holding in order to achieve the main goals and objectives. In the investment firm, he played leading roles as an executive in capital market functions and functions.

He/she has/is taking on duties as a member of technical and relevant boards regarding the adoption of corporate governance basic principles and principles in cultural company practices and the further efficiency of the functions of relevant bodies in this field.

He holds an Independent Accountant and Financial Consultant license and capital market activity licenses (Corporate Governance Rating, Capital Market Activities Level 3 and Derivative Instruments).

Milpa Commercial and Industrial Products Marketing Industry and Trade Inc. He has been serving as General Manager and Board Member since April 2024.

Osman Dereli completed his undergraduate education at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Business Administration, and his master's degree in Accounting at the University of Illinois in the United States.

He worked as an Accounting Expert in Istanbul between 1997 and 2008 and carried out tax audits of large companies.

Between 2008 and 2012, he served as Group Head at the Revenue Administration for 4 years, and during this period, he issued rulings on various tax issues.

He served as KGK Founding Vice President for 4 years between 2012 and 2016, and during this period, he took part in the preparation of independent audit legislation in our country and the establishment of auditing standards and accounting standards.

He served as the Chairman of the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) between 2016 and 2020. During this period, he specialized in both FATF standards and MASAK's regulations and practices regarding Laundering and Terrorism Financing legislation, such as money laundering, AML/CFT compliance, and international money transfers.

Osman Dereli, who served as the Minister's Advisor between 2020 and 2023, also served as the President of the Bail Fund.

He joined RYMreform as a partner in July 2023.
